Hey Mike. I can't wait buddy. Hopefully the Tiki Bar will be as good to you this year as it was last year. :)

I noticed that Palmer was off the list also. I sent Ashely (Scott's GF) a message asking if they were going to make it, she told me they were not coming to Brainerd this year.

You guys going up for the week? 3 Days? I can only make it Sat - Sun this year for the first time in 10 years. Probably bringing a bike instead of paying the ATV fee as well.

And we switched seats - we've been down low at the start for the last 10 years (just above the cutout in section C for the tunnel), we moved to top row 1 section towards the finish this year.

I'm guessing Mark Krogen will be there too.

Alcohol fields are terribly low again, thats too bad!

Yes, I will be there! Fri-Sun.

And it is sad there are just 14 TAD and 7 TAFC on the entry list so far.

heading down sat/sun with 2 sons & son's friend - hauling in a golf cart for
one frickin' nite - got to though if we plan to make it past the tiki bar :D

too bad scott won't be there; farmer's insurance agent in brainerd had
a cool 'one race' deal going with him a few years back.

While driving down the hiway here in Ct. the other day, I saw a tractor trailer that had advertising all over it for BIR "racetrack + resort". Also for a bedliner company in Mi. (which was also lettered on the cab.) It didn't say anything about the zoo though....

That might've been from the days the track was owned by The Colonel who also ran a truck accessory company in Michigan.

$70.00 for the ATV for a single night is just too much for me. If you have a group and do the chip in it might work. Thinking back, my best times in the zoo have been off the ATV... walking around you can go in and out of nooks and crannies... or hop on any of the roaming party busses.

I'll save about $120 skipping Friday and leaving the ATV at home.

Mark, no zoo again?

Unfortunately no. My father-in-law bought the neighbor's lot on Mille Lacs and I've just left my camper there all summer. I'm loving not towing that beast around.

you'd have the time of your life Joe.

You really oughta try and make it some year. You would NOT regret it.

I, regretfully, will not be there this year. :(

I wouldn't mind going to Brainerd if it wasn't so close to Indy!

joe, the main difference, that should really interest you, between indy and
brainerd is that the hotties in indy are working; the hotties in brainerd
are drunk.....and quite photogenic i mite add :p

I can see myself having a Major blast in the Zoo, but I heard it is Easy as Hell to get lost in there! Indy has a pretty Good Mini Zoo in the old Drive Inn! For years they would get Rock bands in there!

I would fly over just to hang with Joe in the zoo, man we would have some fun. Hopefully I will be living somewhere in the USA this time next year but if that fails I think my holidays will be used for BIR and Indy. Might even find a girl in the zoo drunk enough to marry me.
