Be a big feat to have a Toyota Prius in pro stock. It has the lowest drag coefficient out there.
Now if they would return to stock suspension how much engine work would that require ?
I don't know Chris they will have rules already on how car will be built but I don't want them to take away from creative minds of the crew chief, don't want cookie cutter cars like Nascar where you have .ooo difference between 1st and 16th that's why it's boring to some people now. These cars are going to be expensive anyway.Maybe that is another way NHRA can emulate NASCAR, by giving all the teams shocks when they show up on site, and require factory pick up points for the suspension. Would slow the cars down initially, but it would save everyone a ton of money. A little more stock creeping back into Pro Stock, I like it!
I wonder how many engine builders and carburetor specialists are not happy to hear the news on the changes coming for Pro Stock.

And the Oshawa, Ontario built Camaro! And the Michigan assembled Mustang but the engine and transmission come from Windsor, Ontario! And the Brampton, Ontario built Challenger/Charger!
Meanwhile, nearly a million Camrys roll off the line in Kentucky every year out of 95% domestically sourced parts (only the electronics come from Japan). But those are Toyotas, they can't be 'Murican. Only them cars built in Canada are 'Murican!
I say let anyone in who wants in.
whatever changes are on the horizon for PS, make sure they carry their front wheels, same as PS of yesteryear and
the late model st/sst of today.......am fearful they will not if using same chassis.
i'd rather watch a late model st/sst carry their wheels to a 8-9 sec. run than watch the present version of PS.
The Question was "For those who remember and were in the stands to witness it, what was more exciting to watch...1970's Pro Stock or the Pro Stock race at the national event last week?
I vote for the 1970 Pro Stock show for sure
Don' shoot the messenger it's just my opinion.
