April Fools!!!

Thank you for allowing me to have some fun with this year’s April Fools’ joke! I truly appreciate the opportunity to bring some laughter, frustration and joy to the day. It was a pleasure to share a lighthearted moment with everyone, and I’m grateful for the good spirits and enthusiasm. Looking forward to more fun and memorable moments in the future!

I got a better April fools joke for ya.... On April 1st 1999, my Dad went in @ 6am for heart bypass surgery. At 1pm the doc comes out and said in deadpan manner that it went well but he could only do 5 bypasses as the 6th one was too calcified to do.
???????
Dad went in for "maybe a double or triple" bypass.......

A couple of years later a quintuple bypass made the news when David Letterman had one.

I almost asked the doctor if he was joking....who ever heard of 5 or 6 bypasses???
He was so deadpan, I thought he was going to say April fools!




Before he passed in 2022 at 91 and 11/12ths, his last doctor remarked on how good his heart was and whoever did the work was so good he would like to have him as his doctor.
Dad broke the news to him that he was long since retired....

Exact same thing with me. I figured it was yet anther f'ed up computer problem that I was gong to have to spend 2 months troubleshooting. I'm sure glad the site is back to normal today.
