finally , some real horsepower at a nascar race
You took the words right out of my mouth.
I always get a chuckle when the Nascar folks run their TV ads about their banquet in NYC. They say something like "Nascar is coming to New York and they are bringing 8000 horsepower". Whenever I see that I always say "Oh, they're only bringing one car? That's all we would have to bring for 8000 HP".

I can't get it to play. I get the message "Error" with the yellow crying face. I have the latest Flash Player installed (assuming it uses that). Do you have to have a myspace account for it to play? Anyone?
95%?? Please... Half of my nascar lovin friends have NEVER been to a race or seen a fuel car run. I did pop ones cherry this year at the Gators,now he says Naswhat?

Mark, you don't need a MySpace account to be able to see it. It might be something with your computer...first steps might be to check for updates...also check for a Java update.
I posted that link last night over at comp plus after searching far and wide for it...something that totally amazes me. You would think someone at JFR, Old Spice, or NHRA would want a great clip out there promoting the sport. Maybe it's in the works...let's hope so.

Not the best video but it still would have been cool to have seen that in person.
No Kidding! went to a nascar race a few years ago in bristol and they fired up a t/f car on pit lane. I forget who it was but it sounded totally cool with all the echo in the hills when they gave it a couple of raps.finally , some real horsepower at a nascar race

They did it a couple of years in a row ... one time it was Doug Kalitta and the other time it was Cory Mac when he was driving for the Carrier Bros (former owners of Bristol).

I was at that race in Bristol and that was way cool when they lit the candles inside BMS. I saw this video a while back and that was pretty damn funny when Cory whacked the throttle and Kenny Wallace nearly jumped out of his pants!
