I just saw that the new Comcast DOCSIS 3.0 is capable of 160 Mbps download speeds! That's freakin incredible!

I'm scared to ask how much that technology must cost!

If it's Comcast that means they'll charge an arm, leg and three toes.

I heard that webmasters are loathing these ultra-fast speeds, as they put a ton more load on webservers.

I'm kind of computer-dumb, but is it true that even with these super fast speeds that companies come out with, most computers cannot even run that fast?

Samuel, you have to know how to work Comcast. Digital Cable, preferred package, Broadband, digital phone service, HD DVR, all for $99 a month.

The only time an ultra-fast internet will come into play is if you download large files often or share the connection over a network through a router.

And In Coral Springs Comcast isn't my cable company, it's a small local provider so I can't really squeeze deals out of them.

And call me old-fashioned, but I've rather have a landline phone over VoIP like Comcast or Vonage. Why? If the power goes out, there goes your phone.
