I've been listening to Weird Al since before you were born, I think. Lets call it 77/78 or so and yeah, he's older than he looks... I know I listened to his stuff on The Doctor Demento Show on KMET out in LA before I met my wife, so that means at least 78. Most the early stuff was Polka-Accordion covers.

Of course, I'm a Weird Al fan. I"ve even seen him in concert with my kids. He's a real kick and as far as I'm concerned, he's of vital importance to keep some super-stars humble. He's ripped the very best of them with no sign of slowing down. I'll be forever grateful he's mocked Michael Jackson as he has and there are a number of notables who've considered themselves "arrived" when he called to obtain rights to one of their songs. He can tell you stories about obtaining rights that will blow you away.
