When I heard her name mentioned during Indy TV coverage my first thought was, is she going to race again, but then I figured she was just there because... That's the place to be!

Good luck to her and the team.

This is awesome! I am THRILLED she is coming back! I loved her EMOTIONS! She cried at everything and I lived for it! That's not an insult - it made her so compelling and I am so happy she is back. Great for her - I hope they can produce better than their last year together in 2008. I think they will. Fabulous lady and she will re-ignite this class! Look out Angie - there's another lady gunning for the PSM spotlight!

Glad she is back, in an interview when she was asked about being the female with the most wins she said that she only wanted to have the most mins on a bike period. I hope she sets the mark and blows it away. Glad to have her back.

So glad to hear she will be back. My interest in drag racing started to wane after she retired. I really loved her presence on the track. She was also wonderful in the pits. There is now some serious woman power on the track in ALL classes.

My first thought of Angelle is always '97 or '98, the World Finals on the Winston bike when she lost the Championship in the last round to Matt Hines. We always hang around a few hours to check out the end of year celebrations and wander the pits and when we got to the Winston bike trailer, there was no celebrating, Angelle was still inconsolable and bawling her eyes out. I was conscious at that exact moment, her career was going to be made or broken, it was either going to be a moment she couldn't come back from being that close to the Championship or it was going to be something that galvanized her to take the next step. Well, she took the next step and then some. It's great to have her back.

WOW, didn't see THIS coming. When I first read this on nhra.com, I had to check the calendar to see if it was April 1st. Welcome back Angelle. You've been surely missed. Glad to have you back, tears and all. Guess I won't be going to the kitchen during PSM anymore!! :D

I bet they have a "couple" of Countdown contenders that they will be looking for in the first round...

Always enjoyed Angelle and Antron. So glad to see her back.

BTW: Both of them were some of the first Pros we ever engaged in the pits. They were both a tribute to NHRA (Heck, Antron STILL is <Tough year not withstanding>).
