all access

I havent tried yet this year, can you hear the cars or is it all you here is the announcer again?

sooo...are they gonna fire up the live feed as they fire the cars up? Usually, there is at least an hour pre-race video feed going on? Also, does anybody else have any streaming issues when they go live with the Fox feed? I am only an internet user, no cable.

Yesterday was ok on ROKU, but today there is an ad stuck in a loop so I went back to the computer. I noticed yesterday there was a huge difference in the broadcast time between Roku and the computer. How hard would it be to monitor the streams from the track. Seem it's always something!

Roku worked great Fri and sat ... not so much today. I ended up running an hdmi cable from my laptop to my TV , that works pretty good for me

Not buying crap until they fix it to where it is a reliably and consistently good broadcast. Sh!t, I'd be fine with a solitary fixed camera behind the waterboxes and the track audio all weekend.
It's 2017. There shouldn't be this level of technological short-comings.

Really guys , go spend $30 on a Chromecast . Get rid of those Rokus. Anything that will run a Chrome browser (that`s nearly every piece of hardware out there ) can be "cast" to your TV in HD . Been doing this since last years coverage. Not one hic-cup all weekend ....again.

I watched most of the day today. I thought it was really good sound and video. Much better than watching the broadcast. Hey they even fixed the top end interviews....lol

Actually, I dont know what these guys are talking about with their "reliably and consistently" comments. Rock solid stream all weekend and Pomona.
The old saying of "the problem is not in your set" doesnt apply here.

For those of you that had a better experience with All Access this weekend I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to be the operator this weekend. For some of you that have watched D3TV in the past it probably looked kind of familiar.

What was with the Roku stream starting from the very beginning of the day and having to fast forward to the live action?

I cannot answer that. I only handled the onsite production of the sportsman show and monitored the pro part of the show. Cleeng can answer that or get you to the right person. All I can tell you is that when it left me it was good except for a couple of audio glitches with wireless mice at the top end.

Also another contributing factor is the internet tier you have meaning, if you have the base internet speed and are running a bunch of devices off it too that will cause buffering issues also.

Watched on the Roku all three days, worked great. Nice having it back, made for a enjoyable weekend

It's not "technological short-comings" that are at fault Paul........It's mind numbing incompetence by the idiot they have running it. They have had over 18mths to sort this out since the announcement was made by Peter Clifford July 2015 that ESPN and the NHRA would part company. IMO they got All Access right only once in 2016 and that was because you could hear the cars all th way down and ento the turn off....Nitro a Poppin. I even wrote to them commending them on how right they had it and all they had to do was copy that to the next round. Nup Major Fail yet again.

What would Wally Say?
