Alcohol Funny Car (1 Viewer)

I have a question for anyone familiar with other motorsports organizations: It's been noted how NHRA started charging manfacturers and other nickle and dime costs.

I've been to many NASCAR races and while they don't have a manufacturer midway in the sense of parts makers, they do have a midway that dwarfs what NHRA has including auto makers, travel, and misc. household stuff for women. Also racer merch.

I wonder what NASCAR, or World of Outlaws, Indycar, and especially IHRA charge vendors and manufacturers and if NHRA's practices are in line. Keep in mind even if the cost is similar between NHRA and NASCAR, the scale of reach is much different.

My question is....
Why would you build an "almost big show" or "easily convertible" fuel funny car and go to a national event and get zero TV time, get treated like a sportsman racer, and then have to WIN the event to get the same pay out as a Funny Car non qualifier. (Last I heard it was 7,500. Correct me if I'm wrong).
My intuition says that they won't run them in the Alcohol class at too many events, especially if there is a low car count. But they can run both classes now which is a plus.
