Thanks, like I said several of the more awesome Balloons stayed down. I sure hope the weather clears up later in the week. Then you'll see some awesome pics!

I've ridden in hot air balloons three times. ...and all three times, I jumped out of them! With bungee cords! The first two jumps were with 110' cords, and the third jump was with 2 110' cords hooked together for a 220' jump. Talk about a rush!

If I'm not mistaken Joe..this was the event that used to be in Indianola, IA..World Balloon Classic type thing..now I see why they moved it. There is no way Indianola could handle that..without camping in the corn..and if you had a choice..oh let's see..Iowa..New Mexico..Iowa..duh.

It was a hit for lots of years but got too big..very popular.

David, I know they used to have Balloon rally's in Indianola in the early 70's around the same time they got Big here! Our First event was in '72 at a Shopping center, they had just 6 balloons but 15,000 spectators! So that sounds about right.
