Only one from experience:
Prolong was an oil additive that Dana Hopewell used in Henkleman's A/F car. Dana told us he was using up crankshafts quite often (4-8 passes) until he began using Prolong in his oil. He pointed to his engine in the car and said that crank has 77 passes on it without an issue. We used it in an unblown alky engine and got hundreds of passes out of it and, if I'm not mistaken, that crank is still standard/standard to this day in our shop.
There are many other products in use regularly in NASCAR for gear boxes, third members, crankcases that have proven to work effectively that have become industry standards among the "Good 'ol Boys."
