...Actor Bill Mckinney has died.

Yes he did all that odd stuff to Ned Beatty, but I will always remember him as the man who signed off Shirley Muldowneys licence...

Re: Don Garlits :-(

McKinney played Big Daddy in "Heart Like a Wheel". Does it make better sense now?

Re: Don Garlits :-(

When you saw the thread title with a sad face, is that what you thought the subject was? The freakin' actor died from a 1984 movie?! Stupid...

Actually, I thought the thread was going to be about his wife and was glad it wasn't. I was just trying to help out the original poster.

Joe, you haven't seen Deliverence?

Yes I have seen Deliverance, what's Sad is a movie like that today would win Academy awards in today's Hollyweird!

Deliverance's themes of loss, redemption, and hope are as timeless as the Greek tragedies.

Plus a chubby fella gets corn*oled face down in the woods.

Plato wouldn't have had it any other way.

Joe,

Raging homophobia won't prevent those boys in Frisco from grabbing you and rolling you down one of those steep hills to disorient you and then having their way with you.

It just fires them up more.

Let life flourish with all it's myriad colors and variations.

Although I would personally pass on, ahem, doing Ned Beatty.
