A Todd Veney ?

Does anybody know if his dad (Ken) is helping him out with advice or tuning?
Whoa ... Harry, you're not familiar with the Follow A Dream team story? Todd is a hired driver for team owners Jay and Jim Blake. They have a full crew including a lead tuner. Jay Blake lost his eyesight in an industrial accident many years ago ... but make no mistake about it, Jay calls the shots and is the crew chief. Thier track record speaks for itself.

If you ever get the chance ... see them in action and go by their pit. They are all great people just truly "living the dream".

Ken was/is doing tractor pulling with the "Funny Farmall"

I saw Ken a couple weeks ago at a pull in Concord N.C. He is having a lot of fun and is one of the toughest to beat out there. He looks great, as a matter of fact he won the show on Friday.;)

Thanks guys. I used to crew on a BB/FC back in the 70's and we raced Ken many times. Todd at that time was around 6-8 yrs old. I knew about the Follow A Dream car, but lately it seems to be running much better. That is what made me wounder if Ken got involved.
When I used to live in OH I went by Kens shop sometimes. He was starting the Tractor thing then.

I just got home from the NHRA Norwalk race. I got to spend part of today day with Ken & Rona Veney. They went "testing" with the Pulling Tractor on Saturday night at Eldora. Later in the day I got the Honor of meeting and talking with Jay Blake!! If you get the opportunity to talk with the man I highly recommend it!! But NO Ken Veney is NOT assisting on the Follow A Dream Team at all. But what a Great Great Group of indivudals!!!

I couldn't agree more if I tried, Kevin. I spoke with all of them in Englishtown, and as someone pointed out in an earlier post, they are truly Living the Dream! What an inspirational story. Congrats again to Todd Veney on his recent nuptials too!!

and Today @ Lebanon Valley, who won? Nope Not Uncle Frankie, but Todd Veney who actually beat Uncle Frankie in the semis, handing him his 1st loss for the 2010 season. He Beat Eric Lourie in the finals
