Thankfully, reason prevailed after an "Administrative Law Judge" sued a Korean couple trying to make a living as cleaners after they lost his pants.
This "Judge" has ruined these people's lives - they were ready to give up and go back to Korea. I don't know what an Administrative Law Judge is (political appointee?) , but this guy needs to be kicked off the bench and have his ass sued off! -

Jim, I couldn't agree more. I have always said that if you want to sue someone, you better have a good reason, because if you don't, and you lose, you pay all the other persons legal fees and any financial burden it may have caused. Maybe then people will think twice about these frivolous lawsuits.

While flipping through the channels the other day, I caught Judge Judy on Larry King. He asked her about this lawsuit and her reply was that she would dismiss the suit and strongly suggest that the plaintiff seek professional therapy. She is a classic.

I remember that part of what he was suing for was his own hours that he spent working on the case. If I remember correctly, it was in the 1,400 hour range. If you worked 40 hours a week for 50 weeks it'd be 2,000.
