Question on shutdown length in Dallas: Looks short from the drone shot; is it?

Shutdown is around 2400 feet, so approximately 3700 total. In all the years I've been going there I don't recall more than a handful of times the fuel cars wound up in the kitty litter and that was in the pre-1000 foot era.

It's a great track. 40 years and never resurfaced even once. It looks as good today as it did in 1986.
