2026 Stampede of Speed (1 Viewer)

Yes - have not been able to watch - it just keeps dropping. Am hoping when the day is done there will be a streaming video to peruse.

I was just coming back to ask just that thing! I was going to prefaceit with the knowledge that I am NOT very tech savvy, so was curious how windy conditions would cause the feed to drop so easily.

The combination of the temperature and wind is already making it feel really cold. I'm opting for the Champions Club. They moved PSM to the back of Top Fuel, I imagine due to the wind.

Pro Stocks are lovin' the cool air. I don't recall a PS car running 170 to the 1/8th but four of them did in Q1. First 340 pass at the Plex, too. (Langdon)

Based on the results for T/F Q Rd 1, looks like we have a really good, two-lane racetrack for a change. I hope this will hold up for the entire weekend. We have had too many races this year where lane choice made all the diff between winning and losing.
 
The TV problem is not due to the wind. At least not locally. Like others, it dropped, broke up and I couldn’t rewind to anything before FC R1. Good thing it’s my last year with them. They’re just not a serious provider.
 
Great question on how wind would be a factor. I don’t know how they uplink the vid, so I thought maybe it was vibrating a critical connection or swaying a directional antenna?

So what was the problem with the stream? There’s still no video uploaded.

The whole thing dropped, and then when it came back for Q2 of funny car and top fuel, it was perfect. What happened?

are there a few fuel teams that have been saving parts for the this six race sprint to pomona?
i say yes. the kalitta cars are at pace unmatched. tsr and abr a close second.
can't wait for jeg's semi's and finals later today

Maybe we'll finally get that long-awaited all 3 second F/C field this weekend. Prock is still out, so he should easily get in with a 3.90 something at least. That will leave just one spot still outside of the 3 second zone.

Only stream issue I had was the weird screeching sound, but it would come and go, not to bad, also it seemed the video quality was a bit better and when allowed the cars sounded pretty good (burnout and launch) still to much announcer volume
