Yes, should be very typical NHRA Finals weather. Cool mornings, nice mid-'70's days, and back to jacket weather in the stands for the late afternoon sessions. It can get chilly at Pomona in the stands in the late afternoons, when the sun gets low and the afternoon breeze picks up from the west. Looking forward to attending all day Sat, and maybe Sunday too.stockers should be in the lanes.
looks like 4 days of dry, somewhat cool, so-cal beautiful weather.
tony, was it a drone? or a fixed camera? IMO unique camera angles/views are great.I watched the top alcohol session on NHRA.tv. The top end view was pretty cool. I wish they could do a few of those during the nitro session.
Fixed camera.tony, was it a drone? or a fixed camera? IMO unique camera angles/views are great.
So when Nhra.tv shows drivers getting out of the cars is that a Fox camera?Fixed camera.
Yes, I like those as well. It would be cool if NHRA.tv offered the ability to choose certain camera positions.
I'd to see one at the turn off where you can see the drivers get out of the cars.
One along the wall about 500 feet past the finish line.
Another at around half track at grandstand level, like Bangshift use to do.
I believe they all are.So when Nhra.tv shows drivers getting out of the cars is that a Fox camera?
Well, yes. Jimmy Prock of course. I think Prock has proven that at least this year, he has the best tune-up for just about all weather and track conditions.Jimmy Prock!
Fact of the matter is, they haven’t been flat outrun and beaten since the semi final in Sonoma.Well, yes. Jimmy Prock of course. I think Prock has proven that at least this year, he has the best tune-up for just about all weather and track conditions.
They were supposed to get snow today, but the cloud ceiling is so low at the moment that you can't see the peaks.wonder if mtn. tops had enough snow to be visible this afternoon? classic pomona look, although typically for the winters.
