I could see that. They're here quite frequently as it is, adding them to that event shouldn't be a problem.

World Cup Finals last weekend was the largest crowd (racers & fans) I've ever seen at MIR. Over 450 racers and packed stands!

I think that IHRA is working to grow into the markets carefully and keep the costs for teams down as opposed to the NHRA where they have not contained costs for the teams. At a cost of $20,000+ per run at NHRA for a nitro operation I can certainly see why there have been fewer teams making the majority of the races.

I believe that the I.H.R.A. is moving in the right direction with many things they are doing.

To me it just seems that they have a better sense of where drag racing is going.
