1st Run Under 4-Seconds???

Where is Lewis when we need him. I didn't want to derail Matt's thread, so I started this new one.

Is this the 1st sub 4-second run to the 1000-ft ever, or just since they shortened the race to 1000-ft?

The very first sub 4 second run to 1,000 foot ever was ironically Scott Kalitta in Houston. He did it on his 4.72 record run in March 1994.
