PMRA rookie Derek Hawker showed he was a force to reckon with in 2010, taking second place in the Pro Modified Racing Association Championship Point Award Series presented by Magnum Auto Parts and Patio Passport.
"We had a great year," noted Hawker, driver of the Hawker Racing 1963 Corvette. "In fact, we had a fantastic year. The car ran well, and we can't wait to get back at it again next year."
The former Top Sportsman driver stepped up into the quick Pro Modified in 2010, and made a fine showing in his first year of PMRA racing, qualifying for all events.
