Guess those Chicken Littles do serve a purpose, huh?

Good job, NHRA. Move in the right direction.

That's an ATTABOY for Glendora... y'all done good. Thank You from a fan and NHRA member.

remember, 10 ATTABOYS get you a hat pin...
also remember 1 AHChit cancels 9 ATTABOYS...

d'kid

Well, I reckon that this proves that the Glendora folks CAN listen!

I wonder when the "Compton Bashing" will begin, saying that the NHRA will go broke offering those discounted tickets....

I guess is this case something is always better than nothing... but, how about the east side bleachers adjacent to the pits and the bathrooms, with real seats? You know (NHRA) the seats everyone pays full price for. I really don't think I'm alone on this one.

I'm with you Don.

You can't see the Motel6vision from the West side.
Normally, Thursday and Friday, they don't even open the West side stands.
It's not worth the expense of security, clean-up crew and there are plenty of seats in the Main grandstand.

Last November, Subway had coupons for $8 off GA.
When I went into Subway, I bought a bunch of sandwiches too.

This February, it looks like Discount Tire Centers will have them.
Right now, I don't have anything I need to purchase at DTC.

IIRC
Thursday was $25, minus $8 = $17
Friday GA was $30, minus $8 = $22
Saturday was $45, minus $8 = $37
Sunday was $55, minus $8 = $47

That's not bad at all.

I hope they open up the top end seats past the 1000' mark.
I love watching sportsman racing there.
The AAA banners they draped over the section last November were completely invisible anyways.

Anyways, I applaud NHRA for the free children admission. That is excellent for families.
Also for the military personel on Fridays.
Bravo NHRA! Bravo! Excellent excellent excellent.
Thank you for recognizing the situation and at least going in the right direction!!!

Great! Wonderful! ... But what about those of us who have already ordered our tickets a month or so ago? Why aren't they doing anything for the die-hard fans that have booked everything already? About the only deal I'm getting next year is from Madison, who will give me a discount on the price of a 3-day ticket that includes a deal on special parking, plus an autograph session with a gift pack that includes a hat and program. All tracks should follow suit!

I just wish the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds would drop their PARKING prices.

It's a b###h to have to park on Foothill Blvd. at Albertson's Market and walk the two miles to the Fairgrounds!

Seriously, BRAVO, NHRA for your compassion during these increasingly hard times.

You red lit! :o
A lot of the die-hard fans buy the day of the event, they never sellout so no need to put the money in their pockets too early kind of like if you have to pay additional taxes you wait till the 15th. ;)

All kidding aside good job NHRA glad to see you are paying attention.

They used to be $8 and now they're $10 for the regular.

I've already purchased my tickets already as well, but I have NO desire to sit GA at 800' either so this doesn't do a thing for me.
