Something I've always wondered when Crew Chiefs leave and go to a different team. How much data when it comes to clutch setups, fuel/ignition timing, log books, engine combination, track prep notes, etc belongs to the crew chief or the team. I know you cant take "setup A" and plug it into "car B" and have it run the same but I imagine some of it is transferable.

The way I think about it is, you can not erase the crew chiefs brain so most of it is going with him. Just like the average person switching jobs, you still have the knowledge you just might not have access to the same equipment. The ones that can adapt are the great ones, the others are the ones that are average.

Prock going to Tasca is going to be interesting if he can maintain his level of success. Alan Johnson's proven he can go anywhere and win as have several others. Grubby is extremely talented. Head is a very smart man and always trying things, I believe if he concentrated on winning he could.

FYI Alexis net worth is 100 Million and John Paul Dejoria net worth is 2.9 Billion so I seriously doubt money is an issue.
