Today I am going to modify a 3 Point Hitch so my Quick Attach works with my new Back Blade. Then I plan on splitting some wood on the Farm. When it gets dark I'll head back to the plant and Laser out a couple Intake Plenums.

Tomorrow morning I'll let the guys in to finish painting our new addition to the building. While they are doing that I'll form up the Plenums and Machine the Tops. In the afternoon back to the Farm for an afternoon of cutting Trees and Splitting Wood.

Sunday I'll meet my Brother-in-Law here at the plant to Laser, form and weld his Stainless Fire Place Hearth. In exchange I will watch him cut and split wood at the Farm while I have a few Beers and sit by a Bonfire (I'll help too).

Monday I'll work around the Race Car Shop sorting things out cleaning and restocking the Trailer. Design a few things for the trailer and start building them. Got a few things to Laser for Ness too. Then it is off to home to celebrate the disfunctional Christmas with the In-Laws. At 9:00 pm Deanna and I will venture off to Church leaving the disfunction behind. After Church sip a glass of wine (in my case a Beer, Hamm's of course) fall asleep waiting for Santa to do his thing.

Christmas Day back to the Farm cutting more Trees making room for the new Shop and House. At noon head to my Parents and plow a rink for the nieces and nephews to go skating. Eat way too much, talk smart about nothing, watch the kids open their gifts and then it is back to shop to package everything fabricated over the weekend for delivery to NC for final assembly install and Dyno.

I love long weekends. I get lots of things done.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Be safe...

I'll be making magic in the skys over Disneyland. This is one of the busiest days of the year in the park and consequently is just another day at work (with holiday pay :) )

My family has adjusted to this and we will celebrate Christmas on December 29th this year. Gives us all a chance to do our last minute Christmas shopping after the Christmas rush and take advantage of the after Christmas sales.

For me it's work Monday Celebrate Christmas Tuesday with the kids home from college then go in Thur. for carpal tunnel surgery.

Well, just like the airlines & hospitals, the executive air charter & medical air evac businesses never shut down. I am working the 24th and will be on call Christmas day. But I'll squeeze in a couple family gatherings... and that's all that really matters. NEXT weekend is a biggie for me.. the annual NCAA Denver Cup Men's Ice Hockey tournament at the University of Denver. It's D.U., Sacred Heart, Northern Michigan and Dartmouth. 2 days of doubleheader hockey.... ooh baby.... few things in life rival my Kalitta obsession; college hockey being one of them! Lets go D U !!!

I wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Martin,

I have a couple of pretty good bottles JW Black, Chivas, so bring whatever you want, and we'll sample it. Anybody else who wants to stop by, come on!

Sunny, about 70, Martin and I comparing travel horror stories and tasting good Scotch. Now where are you going to get a better offer than that?

Alan

I've got a little over a week off. Tomorrow morning I'm going about 100 or so miles to the Knoxville and Maryville (hometown) areas to run around and do my annual saying "hi" to several friends and family members before doing the usual Christmas eve dinner with my dad's side of the family (Cuz my mom's side does a little reunion a couple weeks out so everyone has more time around Christmas for their own stuff. Works out great). Rest of the week will be spent working on the funny car so I can finally get finished with Keith Davidson's block to rear alignment bar and get it back to Al Napier who borrowed it from Keith in the first place before I borrowed it from him! :D

Flew to Northern Kentucky from Vegas on Friday. My friends drove up from Louisville yesterday and we went to the Hofbrauhaus on the Newport Levee (accross the river from downtown Cincinnati). Drank a lot of Lager and ate Sauerbraten. Today watched the Bengals game with family and friends, and I will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas day with my parents. On Wednesday morning it is right back to work as I hop on a plane and fly from Northern Kentucky to Orlando to work in Kissimmee, Florida. Friday I fly back to Vegas and will spend New Year's in Vegas before flying out late New Year's day to work in Manhattan.

Happy Holidays to everyone on the 'Mater!!!

Just a few weeks until they fire the motors for testing in Vegas!!!

Sunday was dinner and gifts at my sisters house, met the nieces new boyfriend (high schoolers) told my niece that I was gonna either act like a moron or a hard ass to the kid,she told me i was already both of those so......
Tried playing Guitar Hero with the nephew,it might not be that hard if I didn't "play" guitar for real.Kinda strange getting used to it.

Today is dinner @ my brothers gotta bring the shrimp, bread, and Mom- I'll forget one of them- never fails!!!Probably run the snowmobiles around for awhile. They live on 10 acres, got some goats ,chickens,a horse, and this black lab/great dane mix ,that is very protective of my brothers children. He was running next to the sled,@ 19 mph for ,100 yards or so last week when they were on it w me-psycho!!!Did it three times in a row.

Then Christmas day ,take Mom to the airport @ 5 a.m.
Then to my brothers house for opening of the kids presents, more snowmobiling, and turkey dinner in the evening.Maybe a nap or two etc etc.

Have a Merry Christmas!!!!

I LOVE Guitar Hero. I have 1, 2 and 3. My friend has the whole Rock Band setup and on weekends if I am Vegas we hang out at his house and play rock band all night long. The Rock Band get togethers have garnered some renown, and now 15-20 people show up to hang out and play with us. Pretty soon we hope to have groupies (okay, only I hope to have groupies) !!! I shred the guitar and bass, I do okay singing some songs, but I cannot play the drums to save my arse. In fact, whenever new songs become available for download to the XBox 360 version of Rock Band, my friend sends out an email announcing the new "playlist".

I would just like to point out that we are all over 30, have respectable jobs and a couple of us are even married and have kids and that playing fake instruments badly is in no way "nerdy".

Fed some animals this morning, and I'll be at the parents home eating clams, shrimp, and oysters picked up from the coast of North Carolina all day and into the night.

Merry Christmas!

It was a gorgeous sunny day here after a grey/rainy weekend. The ladies were in great outfits in American Village. Had a great meal with buddies and their families. Now I'm at work and its another nice day out.
