With 5 kids and all the family activities, our Christmas gets to be somewhat stressful, but thankfully nearly all of our family is here in the Twin Cities so we don't have to travel anywhere. But what about the rest of you?

This year one brother and his wife are going to Chicago but every year on Christmas Eve we have all my brothers, sisters, and their families come over to my parents house where we have a huge living room. We eat a good meal of posole, tamales, chile, biscochitos and pie, the we open gifts starting from the youngest to the oldest. Every body gets their turn in the spotlight and we usually finish about midnight and then we all go to Christmas Mass on Christmas day.

Christmas morning my wife and I open gifts with her parents, maybe have some chorizo & eggs for breakfast. Then head for the wife's grandparents ranch for the big meal. Your standards, ham, turkey (deep fried by yours truly, with a nice cajun rub!!), mashed taters, gravy, yams, etc. Then gifts with the whole family, followed by plenty of desserts.:)

Dean will be with his Dad on Christmas....I get the last half of his days off from school. He comes home on the 26th....and doesn't have to go back until the 7th of January.

My sisters and their families and I always go over to Mom's on Christmas day, except in 'odd numbered years' (lol...don't you love legal crap?) when my son is at his Dad's. My family is so wonderful. They chose to hold off the 'big' celebration until Wednesday. So....I've booked up my calendar with friends and get-togethers until then. :)

Today is my last day in the office until Jan. 4th. My mom is coming into to town this weekend and my father is coming into town next weekend. My wife wrapped the kids presents last night so we are good to go from that aspect. I plan on relaxing, having a few drinks (ok maybe more then a few)

, and enjoying the time with my family.

It's great to hear all the family get-togethers!
We have our standard traditions. My family went caroling last Monday night for the 25th year in a row. We will gather Christmas eve for a birthday party for Jesus where we read the second chapter of Luke then have cake and ice cream after singing happy birthday to our Savior. Later that evening we have our favorite tradition but we don't talk much about it. Suffice it to say "It's not all about us."
From all of the Millers at Wannabe Racing, we would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

Sitting here with a broken leg:(. Doing a prime rib Xmas eve and maybe some fresh crab Xmas day.:D

I'm stuck here on Oki and will not be able to make it home. I'll probably put on shorts head down to the Starbucks in American Village and watch the hotties walk by.:D

Be visiting BIL Christmas Eve, having Christmas breakfast at my house then visiting other BIL for the afternoon.

Tomorrow is my last day of work until Jan 7th. Looking forward to all the time off. :D

Hope everyone has a happy holiday..and a well rested new year.

I have a jam packed 4 days coming up. Saturday I have to drop my mother in law off at the airport and then go to the nutcracker and have Xmas at my dad's and stepmom's. Then Sunday I have to drive to Livingston and have Xmas with my mom, brothers, sisters, and grandpa and then drive back home b/c I have to work half a day on Monday. Then after that I'm going to my grandma's and on Xmas day I'm going to my sister in laws and other grandma's. Busy, busy, busy. Not to mention I will probably gain 20 lbs with all those meals! I hope everyone has a great Xmas and a Happy New Year.

I'm not doing anything on Christmas day. Then again, I'm jewish.

I am going to a jewish singles event/dance called the "Matzo Ball" (The real name) on Christmas Eve, though. There is one thing though, I can't "dip" when I dance. Last time I tried to dip a girl I dropped her.... then fell on top of her. :o

I'll be at work. Want to wish me a Merry one, call the shop,

Alan

Alan- the boys are with mom on Christmas Day (us guys will celebrate on Christmas Eve together, then her and the new hubby get the next day around Noon)... I'm coming to the shop. Scotch or Tequlia?

We're headed out to beautiful, sunny southern california friday afternoon. Having Christmas with the [pseudo-]in-laws. Now I just need to find a place in Vista that has the NFL network so I can watch the Cowboys game on Saturday.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!

I will probably still be recovering from the flu. I have been out all week and I still do not feel any better. I have all kinds of medicine, but I think they gave me the placebo instead!!!:D

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year!

Sam, I love the name Matzah Ball! Awesome!!!

On Saturday, we're wrapping up some last minute shopping, then me and the mrs are going to take in the Pompeii exhibit at the science museum. Taking it easy on Sunday, then on Monday, will be roasting a big ham on the Weber, which we will then take down to my Brother-In-Law's farm on Monday.

Merry Christmas everybody!!!!

Umm...not real sure.
The 23rd and 24th are my busiest days all year at work.
Every year I have to work non-stop/overnight/no sleep those two days.

Then, the 25th, I sleep all day pretty much.
No girlfriend to hang out with this year, and the fam is not real get-togethery.

Maybe will travel 3 hours North and see a neice that is having a baby(she's due TODAY).

Back to work on Wednesday.
