I made it to the semi final but was a bit tardy with a .112 and then broke out 14.279 on a 14.280 dial.

Did you win the 80% for that run or were there others that hit their number too?

I still remember my first pass down a drag strip like it was yesterday (31 years ago, actually). I'm sure the excitement I felt was similar to yours. It really is a disease.

X2, give or take a couple of years. The disease is incurable - I'm still doing it.

So Paul, now that you've been bitten, the disease will get worse. My guess is that next year at this time you'll have the car back-halved, a full cage, and a 502 crate motor ...
