Way to ruin my night ESPN 2 :-(

Here we are at 8:30p.m.Central time and ESPN2 runs a crawler on the bottom of the screen with the winners in TF, FC and PS... BEFORE THE FINAL!!! What a joke

I completely agree. Pissed me off. I stayed away from the computer all day, the internet all day, so I could watch the race and not know what happened. And then during 2nd round I see the results. Its stupid and they should fix it. I know the Bassmasters classic already finished today but they didnt post up the weigh in results b/c it was airing afterwards.

yeah I caught it too, as soon as I saw the tf final listed I put my hand up so that I wouldn't see the rest. I wish the would wait until after the race, just seems liek common sense.

During the Olympics, even though its tape delayed the network airing it doesn't have the crawl tell who won what you are watching

ESPN and NHRA being the bad guys for reporting results.

I bet there would have been some serious complaints if they had bumped the crawl for B.A.S.S. and NCAA womens hoops results.

I've adjusted my TV to where I can't read but 1/3 of the ticker and I tune that out.

I dont normally watch them but my eyes just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time

I don't even look at the ticker. It's usually something trivial about baseball, football, soccer, hockey, basketball, NASCAR blah blah blah.

Okay, maybe it's just me, as usual.... I watched the show with my ladder sheets in my hands... to compare my notes from the audio-cast to what was on the tube... i will miss the g-ville TV because I'll still be listening to the race on computer...

and nope, i'm another who can't see the crawly thingys on the TV set... have learned to ignore them along with commercials...

The NHRA is paying to have the race broadcast, and ESPN is ruining the ending. There's an analogy there, I just can't think of a good one.

I use painter's blue masking tape. Seriously. Duct tape is too sticky.
