Waterman Fuel Pumps

"Smoke" lost fuel pressure during the NASCAR race today and we got a close look at the new "Waterman" cable driven tank mounted fuel pump. I assume this is the same company that has been involved in drag racing for many years.
The pump did not fail . . . it was the cable (extending all the way to the back of the car from the back of the dry sump system). Cable has a tiny hex drive that looks a LOT like my Dremel flex shaft -

Yup - no apology when Tony came back out 23 laps down after replacing the cable! Teamate Hamlin also had a cable problem. Sounds like Gibbs needs to stop shopping at Home Depot -
