I don't doubt that, Armand. The point I was trying to make is the reaction to shifting the car is dealt with in an entirely different manner that the reaction to the Christmas tree.

I agree, my shift light used to come on 100 rpm's before the actual shift rpm.
Now I just let the MSD take care of it. I am getting old too. :)

Hey Johnny!! You gonna be in KC for the Muscle Car Reunion in a couple of weeks?

Sean...I'll be there on Sunday. I have a commitment with my station Saturday evening that I need to fulfill. I believe 'Radical Rich' will be handling the duties Saturday. You may remember him from Gateway's event.

We just made the decision tonight to go, so be sure to look us up Sunday.

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that he doesn't look at the tach, or depend on the shift light. Call me crazy.

Secondly, I would really like to see WJ get his 100th and announce his retirement on that day. I thought he would have it by now, but he will have my support until that point. I do think that Justin would be a great replacement driver for him when the time comes. Richie also comes to mind.

I would like to see him get his 100th too. But if he ever gets out of the drivers seat, I would like to see him get a young driver with a brain like a sponge. Someone he could groom to be like a young W.J..

Correct me if I'm wrong but that just described Kurt? You know, the guy whose 14 points from leading the world?

i think warren Johnson should look to V. Gaines as inspiration as far as turning his RT's around. i believe warren and V are about the same age and Gaines was never particularly good at the tree up until this year and has done something to turn things around. Gaines has turned on the red light a few times but when he goes green his rt's are up there with the class front runners and has a very competitive package and a win to boot

You are correct. Don't Kurt have a son(or daughter{would be something"W.J.'s granddaughter kicking a$$ in pro stock"}) and how old is he(she)?
It would be awesome if Kurt wins the championship. I cannot think of anyone who worked harder for it. Well besides his old man, he could win every year and it wouldn't be enough for all his hard work.

I think Conner is the oldest, but dont think he is more than 10 or so...

Arlene used to lurk and message now and then. Maybe she can kick in on the next generation of Johnson's...
