as a 16 yr avid van , goen to the world finals was just too much .. my brother dropped me of at the track at 7:30 each morn .. spectator gate wasn't even open yet , i didn't care .. i think it was $25.00 for the 3 days , yikes ..what a thrill to c tf,fc,ps,pro comp .. a hamburger/drink was $1.50 .. by this time i had the fold out pics of tf / fc , from hot rod mag ,drag illistrated,etc , taped on my bed rm walls , my parents didn't mind at all .. i had all ready been putting model cars of drag racing together , i got a trophy at a contest the same yr , a fc (?).. i seem to remember a fc crash at the lights at this race , can any body remember the fc ? i have a bunch of model car kits ( fc / tf / ps kits still n box not put together ) ..
