Twas the week before Christmas

And all through the shop

The wrenches were flying

The prep wouldnt stop



The cars are all nestled

in transporters with care

awaiting Pomona,

yes, we will be there.



The Sarge for the ARMY

Fast Jack With his ride

Capps Big Blu BRUT

Rollin O Scelzi right there by his side.



When out in the Motor Shop

There was such a Blast

When all of the smoke cleared

we just stood there and gasped



A jolly old fat man,

and a HEMI of Steel

2 big fat GoodYears

He Had the whole Deal



A Hemi so Polished

a blower on top

a sleek, long tubed body

the headers,WHOP POP!



We loaded the trailer

to the raceway we flew

We all wanted to see

What the dragster would do.



We lined the cars up

with the headers ablaze

both did their burnout

and started to stage



The fat man was Left Lane

and Tony took Right

this would be something

to brag on tonight



The lights dropped,the tires struck

and neither one hazed

The headers were flaming

each of 8 holes ablaze



they passed the 1320

each side by side

what a great christmas treat

to be watching this ride



The fat man kept going

and as he streaked out of sight
