Just finished watching the live ESPN3 webcast of the Friday night session.
Wow! That was cool as hell. Looked like a good time.

I was surprised by the number of drivers that had never driven at night before. All that tells me is that we need way more night sessions ...

Night session was awesome! This being my first trip to this track and I don't mind all the walking. I knew going into it there would be a lot. I mean, really, you can expect to do a fair amount of walking whenever you go to an event. The only thing I don't really care for is how far back the stands are from the track because of the road course. Sheesh, it seems like you're a football field length away when sitting in the pitside reserved stands. I shouldn't complain.... crappy seating at the track is still better than being in the office working.

I was there Saturday......and I might add, since I had to pay 10 bucks to park my car, decided I would not spend another dime on t-shirts, hats or toys for my grand kids.....came home with lots of extra cash.

You could`ve just walked over to the other side (GA). Much closer to the track.
