Chris l'm get tired of you making remarks about my driving, so here is the my report about me pepper-spraying an off-duty policeman in the UK

You would lose your money then, l've been on vacation to California in 2001, 2003 & 2004 to attend the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals.

While on my vacation in Ohio in June 2005 l bought two pepper sprays at Wal-Mart (Pepper Sprays are illegal in the UK)

ln August 2005 l was driving my hire car around a roundabout, l had indicated to turn off the roundabout when the bloke behind me honked his horn & flashed his lights. So l gave him the finger & he followed me, l turned to go the street where l live. l stopped & he stopped behind me. l was nervous at this point as he could be carrying a knife.

l got out of my car & so did he, l walked towards him, l said "have you ever been pepper-sprayed," he said "no,"
so l said "f*ck off then" and then l pepper sprayed him in the face, he produced his police warrant card & said l was under arrest, l tried to pepper-spray him again as l wanted to get away.

l was very sorry to him about what l had done, he said l could have blinded him for life which l said was rubbish because if the pepper-spray was capable of that l would never have bought it back from the States.

He called for back-up, two police cars arrived & l was taken to Gateshead Police Station, all my belongings were removed from pockets, also my belt & shoes were taken & l was put in a cell. Later l was examined by the Duty Doctor and my photo, DNA & fingerprint scan carried out. l was kept in overnight as l had assaulted an off-duty policeman.

While there l told them that l had another pepper-spray in my apartment, l told them exactly where to find it. Before two policemen went to get the pepper-spray, the Desk Sergeant asked "if there were any BOOBY TRAPS," l replied with "what do you think l am a terrorist!!"

The Magistrates Court appearances went on for several months before the Magistrates couldn't decide how to sentence me, so my case was to be heard at Newcastle Crown Court in Feb 2006.

In the court they went through all the details as at the Magistrates Court, the judge said that the minimum sentence was six months in prison. Due to my 11 years service as a Medic in the RAF, nursing for 21 years & still working in the community and suffering from Bi-Polar Disorder l was given 12 months probation, l was very relieved.

My 12 months probation ends on Feb 20, l want to attend the ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals & the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals. So l have to be interviewed by an American Embassy Consular Official, he passes the info onto the Dept Of Homeland Security, they take between four to six months to either stamp a visa in my passport or ban me indefinitely.
