Great pass and a pretty big speed for the Shoe. Don't forget he also set the NHRA speed record in 2018 at the Arizona Nationals, 336.57, and he's been 337 way back before the 1000 foot era. He's used to going fast !

And now he'll be stepping into a 341mph hot rod. Maybe someone said already but will the current crew chiefs remain or is TS bringing his?

I ran into Tony in a restaurant this evening. He didn’t say anything earth shattering but he seemed very happy and excited about next year. Like most of the drag racers, he was very friendly. He took a photo with pretty much the whole restaurant staff.

don't recall where i read it, but the short story is this move has been in the works since early summer, and as clay stated
in one his recent videos, that certain people had to go to certain places and it just took a little time to announce and implement.
guess we'll all find out what the future holds for potential 2nd rwr car.
