Im talking like dsr drivers, force drivers, bvr drivers, clay millican, etc
if matco is worth $10, and a potential new sponsor is worh $15, where do you think the the best talent would locate? just sayin’.Don't think Don would split up Antron and Brian in 2020. After Antron's not so good (for him) 2019, a big time rebound this coming season is very important to the Marco team for a lot of reasons.

HAHAHA...lack of confidence is the last thing that will affect Tony.If I were Tony I'd be worried about missing two seasons in a row. Could be really bad for his confidence not getting any seat time..
This is a huge glaring symptom of a failure of marketing, both at the sanctioning body level and the racer level. It is obvious that a paradigm shift is needed in drag racing's marketing departments. The old stuff doesn't work.
At this point I am wondering if he has had small offers well below asking value? But honestly why would Tony return unless the sponsorship deal makes it worth his while. After being on tour for 20 years and accomplishing everything there is to accomplish about three times over maybe he enjoys being home with his family. Im sure he is not hurting for money with possible work inside of DSR or the electric organization so why go back to the grind of a long season if it financially does not make sense?
Maybe the teammates have other jobs and would be hard to find and gel a crew for one race??From every statement from Tony this season, it certainly sounds like they received offers that were either not right $ or as he has called it "The right fix to grow together." It is 100% why I cannot understand why he did not at least run Indy as reading between the lines, it sure seems like he rejected single race offers.
That would be a yes.I agree, Mark. I would be interested to know if any sort of analysis has been done with regards to dollars required to field a top team versus the amount of ROI companies can expect to get with the current television structure and how those ratios compare in the same respect with the Cup teams. I realize the Cup teams are struggling by their standards as well, but the machine is bigger over there and it got that way somehow.

Not really, most of drag racing is a conservative crowd, so he has most of their votes anyways.down the side of tony's dragster for a 2020 campaign......TRUMP for PRESIDENT.......23 race deal ending on sunday, nov. 1st at vegas 2 finals.
just sayin', it's an election year. that would be the most unique campaign money ever spent.
