The question is, why can't Don self-sponsor the car just like he did with former driver Spencer Massey in the meantime while they look for a marketing partner?
Most probly those other drivers either bought their ride or brought sponsorship. So I guess the races they are unsponsored Shoe covers it. Thats what I be thinkin.

I have a feeling that when Tony lands a full-time sponsor, people will be surprised.
I have no inside knowledge about anything, but Tony is too good of a driver and PR person to sit out very much longer.
He was the absolute best person to represent the U.S. Army. That plays very much in his favor.
Somebody is going to snap him up. It might be a while longer but DSR will get it done.

I could see snap on moving on if cruzer doesnt make the cut this year??? Im a cruzer fan,im hoping he makes it!

Anybody stop and think Tony might just be enjoying this year off ?? He don't need the money, he has plenty of championships, spending time with family
No, see, some people here don't GET that.

They fail to understand why ANYONE would willingly step away from a nitro ride.

I remember when Gary Skelzi hung his gloves up, there were folks on here who were convinced his was not a voluntary departure from the sport.

don't take this the wrong way; i'd love to see tony back out there with some good money for another 4-5 years, but truthfully i'd really like to see someone
like blake land a great backer.....or even bob tasca to add to whatever ford provides. these guys are the future of the sport. they are hungry........sorry, but if tony was truly hungry, he'd be out
there rite now racing when and how he could, like he did in the beginning with peek bros..........this is not a jab, just a comment IMO on who would benefit the most with a little infusion of money

When you've raced at the level that Tony has, and achieved unparalleled success, I can't see him fighting to put together 1 race deals, except maybe for Indy or a special event. There's enough equipment around for him to make laps and keep his license. I think he's smart to keep working on the right deal, just like Snake did in the '80s when he took a year off.

When Tony Pedregon last raced, he was kinda doing one sponsor per event. I don't think he was getting the $$ needed to run the car and it showed in his performance. Not putting him down, I think it's hard to get a sponsor & get the $ needed to run the car(s).

always wondered what copart thought of their short stint with nhra. why did they use nhra/bernsteins? would they come back? their company growth is amazing.
wish i would have bought some of their stock around the time they sponsored brandon.

They figured why sponsor one car when you can have the whole track? And bought Englishtown.

How about Harbor Freight? Certainly not the best tools in the world, but they're everywhere.

Their stuff has improved significantly. I put one of their 22" deep tool chests in my stacker trailer because the last one I got from them was every bit as nice as those name brand units that cost 4 times as much.
