TJ picks up the win in Sweden

Chris, any results from the other classes? Leif Andreason is one of the owners of Tierp and I know he ran a 5.67 in testing a few weeks ago.

Thanks, Nancy

Just left the track at Tierp, an amazing facility. Great racing all weekend. Sundays results are at Eurodragster.com. Your guide to Drag Racing in Europe

Now I saw them, thanks Michael, the other link to me to a different page than that particular one.

Btw Congrats TJ!!

Guys, I've been saying for years they have a good group of drag racers in Europe. The Danes have a really strong car as do the chicken farmers from Finland.

One of the guys who did well was Lindstrom in Pro Stock. It was his first race and he made it to the semi's in his ex-Johnson Avenger. I remember when they would have 50 Pro Stocks show up for a race.

The new track is 1st class.

Bill: You are right, check out what he said to me on Saturday morning Event Updates. great guy, great attitude.

Ed, I remember driving through Vantaa (that would be Finland) and seeing a big rig sitting at a shop, then realizing it was Leena Nystrom's Pro Stock big rig. She was running Pro Stock for years and if you remember, she had a big crash at Santa Pod but luckily came away with only a broken leg. I think her kids still race in Finland.

There is a lot of good racing going around, all over Europe and there's some killer tracks in the Middle East that rival anything we have in the USA. We need to get these folks more print because in the end, it will grow the sport.

Bill, I remember that crash at Santa Pod, I think it was 1998, I was shooting at the top end, and it was quite scary, couldn't believe she just broke a leg and was at the track the next day.

Pippi: Great seeing you again, and although your commentary was mostly in Swedish which i don't understand, I am sure it was excellent this weekend. You are right about the amazing performances in the bike classes as well as all the classes

That certianly is an amazing facility, I hope to have a gallery of photos to post as soon as I get home.
