Tindle Races Dozer to Semifinals at Southern Outlaw Event

<P> (8/21/08) MONTGOMERY, AL – Tim Tindle drove his Tindle Enterprises' GT 500E Promod Mustang to his second semifinal finish of the 2008 season Sunday at Montgomery Motorsports Park. With the help of Quain Stott, the 2007 NHRA Promod Rookie of the Year continues to improve as he prepares for the prestigious Matco Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park.
After a day of qualifying his Promod Mustang in the top half of the field (No.4) at the Southern Outlaw Promod Tour, Tindle defeated Ron Stokes, before falling to his hometown comrade Joe Baker after a tire-shake in the semifinals.
"I really felt we had the car to beat this weekend." We struggled in qualifying a little bit, but Quain (Stott) and my guys are just awesome and put together a killer combination to put us in the top half of the field. Both cars have been set on kill and are continuing to improve each pass down the track. I think we have a bad hot rod going into Indy."
The next Tindle Racing event is the 54th annual U.S. Nationals, Aug. 27-Sept. 1, at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
