The Prock's (21 Viewers)

Small incremental improvements at each race. They are starting to get down the track. This weekend in Valdosta, was not a fair assessment as the track was such a wildcard.
Jimmy P did not get dumb in the off season. He is adjusting to a new chassis, parts/pieces and facilities. He will figure it out and be a threat again. If I was looking to put down some longshot money, I would put bet on them winning the championship this year. If they get it figured out within the next 6-8 races and make the countdown, it is possible.

well, Q 5th @ SGMP, but lost traction in E1 and lost. plus he was 2nd off the line.
meanwhile, his former car @ JFR won the race. IMO they are getting there, but slower than i would have thought.
of the touring regulars in FC this year, they are in last place in points.

Completely agree....Small improvments...I dont like how they parted ways with JFR.....However.....When that Prock monster does finally raise it's head....Watch out....

Procks have run their car on the edge the last few years. They need to build their clutch inventory and learn it. When Cunningham took over the Cornwell car he changed the clutch to be easier to tune. He said Prock's way was too complicated.
Good call. Ron Capps basically said this same thing in his interview with Mighty Mack, this weekend. Not having the abundance of disc to choose from, like he did at JFR.

The C/D is Top Ten PLUS those that attended all the races to Indy, correct? If the Procks are in, they will have figured the car out/have new pipe closer for Jimmy and Tom's way of tuning/ figured out the weak links in their parts chain and replaced them.

As someone said- Jimmy didn't get dumb overnight.

Completely unrelated but...does anyone else get a kick out of watching older races from the late 80's/early 90's and seeing a young Jimmy in the background as a crewmember doing grunt-work?! Humble beginnings, but it is definitely in his blood.

I remember his mullet lol

Don’t bet against the Procks and Tasca isn’t lacking resources.
The cash is there but every team has problems with inventory at times. They started with the new car at the end of the season when everyone is low. And as we saw and they also said themselves their was a wait for new parts.

I'd take that bet that they won't.

No, Jimmy didn't get dumb overnight......but the NY Mets are going through a bit of a rough patch too and many say it's a curse.
Something to do with the current mayor....IDK, but leaving JFR may have brought on it's own kind of curse.... 🍿

I find it funny people still think JFR is the same team it was in the 90's and early 2000's. They are not the dominant team anymore, the playing field is balanced if you look at the last 20 years of champions.
