To head up here and start shoveling snow!!! This is insane. 32 inches with 4-6foot drifts. It has finally stopped snowing. Safe to say, there ain't no "thunder on the mountain" tonight.... unless maybe it's Pro Snowmobile!!!!
And to think just 5 months ago I was Bi***ing because it was 102 degrees at the Mile High Nationals!!

What's snow?
It's what little kids lay down in to make 'snow angels'.
Or come running from the house with a carrot..all excited about making it the nose for the snowman.
Or the whole group on a ride down the hill on a toboggan..or sled.

But then 40 below windchill gets annoying..hehe.

I miss the AZ winters Doc..

I actually got my car onto the street this afternoon! :) My driveway is about 200 feet long, and yesterday I could get the car out of the garage, but not to the street, the drifts were too deep.

This storm was a lot like the storm we had at the end of October that closed I-25 south of Denver. A bunch of snow and high winds closed roads all over the place. I couldn't get to Denver for my flight to OKC for the divisional event in Noble OK...

I'm scheduled to fly out of Denver again this weekend, Sunday afternoon. I have a feeling there will still be people there Sunday that were trying to leave yesterday due to all of the flight cancellations! :o

This was a storm that will be remembered for a long time, not just because of how severe it was, but because of how much of the state it covered. ....good thing I had an ample supply of food and beer, and my satellite dish never quit working! :)
