but it wasn't. it was toyota who stepped up and gave 8 cars to drag racing legends who's careers started when toyota in it's infancy of selling in the USA.
gonna' take a .02 guess toyota wasn't the only one asked to do this legends race. kudos to warren for recognizing toyota when interviewed after his win over ace.

Toyota is the Official Car of the NHRA.....maybe they didn't ask anyone else
