Did anybody happen to see that thing on the roof of Jim Head's car? It looked to me like a camera but I wasn't sure. Anybody know what it is?

Dave

I spotted that also. I thought it was either a periscope of some sort, (though not sure why he would need one,) but figured it was an ESPN camera. I don't recall any video from it though.

Or, perhaps some device to measure airspeed?? A pitot tube of sorts?

I still have the recording. I'll take another look and see if I can figure the mystery out.

That might be a camera from Stable Imaging Systems. Former owners of B& M (Spars?) are involved in this.
Their website is stableimaging.com
Check out Morgan and JR wrecking the truck in Baja - :D

Thanks everybody, that stuff looks pretty cool. I wonder what Jim's up to with this?

Dave

It might be a Kuhneutson Valve, but it looks more like a Johnson Rod.
While you're there don't forget to get your 710 cap, Muffler Bearings, and Lowering Kit. :D

It's a warbalator bushing housing, measures tire shake and humidity at eye level, but needs 1/2 pt. of afterburner fluid to maintain proper cooling!
