The program's In Memoriam portion paid a very nice tribute to Wally Parks yesterday, mentioning him as founder of the the NHRA and explaining that he took drag racing off the streets and turned it into one of the major motorsports. The showed a couple of pictures of Wally and a pair of pro stockers leaving the line.
