TF first round

If people put as much energy into being productive as they did into wanting to "liven up" someplace, .....

Kalhid had every other First Round Winner covered...

Unless my math is wrong, Tony Schumacher would have beaten him on a holeshot also.

Tony would have NEVER had that light on a normal race... Clay tripping the red caused TS to react, hence the .008

Now now, we can't make assumptions. Then you would have to assume differently about the other drivers too. Only looking at it as pure numbers only. Still 2 cars out of 15 isn't bad.

Beckman did have a .004 in the finals. :D

There will not be an AJ 'tune up' in that car.... He has only consulted a little, here and there. The race will be just that - a race! Nothing to see here people.

You know I always assumed that. I realized the drag racing community is never gonna live down 2 things.

1. That Aaron Brooks can actually be a good tuner independently.
2. That Forrest Lucas did not give AJ a blank check to give a bright 2012 to Morgan and Shawn.

Beckman's .004 in the finals was not a true light either. He did a horrible job of red lighting and fortunately for him it worked cause he's right when he said he would not of won any other way unless he cut a 51 or better trying normally and that's rare.

Any light that is green is a true light. Stab in the dark, screw up, or reaction to someone else.

Well, I sorta gotta agree... But whenever I see the other guy movin, the first reaction is the right foot, and the second reaction is the brain goin "Awwww ****!"

Hearing a rumor that they are going to change Fast Jack Beckman's name.....

to "Really Fast" Jack Beckman.........

Double "0" got some consideration as well............:D

Wonder how big that smile is on Dixon's face?

On that particular run, you put Dixon in the seat and the result is the same. Cut a good light, ran a huge number ... just got beat. It happens sometimes.

With the struggles both Al-Anabi cars have had so far this season, I would think Dixon is over the schadenfraude. He is probably much more interested in getting something together for next season. I doubt Dixon is doing much laughing anyway because he is by all accounts a classy guy, and he knows somewhere down the road, he is going to have to race those maroon cars.

I still say the Al-Anabi cars will factor into the championship. Won't take much for them to make the Countdown, then lookout! I am certainly not willing to kick Alan Johnson when he is seemingly down. We have all seen him pull this rabbit out of the hat before ...
