Testing in Gainesville

Prock still hasn't made a full pull. His first run today immediately pulled left and had to be shut off. I don't think it went 200 feet. Not surprisingly, "new team" and parts. Might take a bit to get it dialed in.
Had a hole out on the right side at the step, but then picked it back up... Everything gets out of whack when all that happens.

They will get it. ✔️

Missed having drag racing on my tv!

Sure as hell didn’t miss getting on here and listening to people complain about the sound of the cars on the screen. Same old crap.

It’ll never ever be the same. Go to the track every weekend if you want that.
Seriously? Come on Jonathan, with a comment like that NHRA is going to think nobody cares about a proper presentation of Drag Racing on TV and stream.... and the ratings will go down, down down, as this incredible sport dwindles into mediocrity

I'm gladly paying my $165 for nhra.tv. We ditched all the over priced streaming because we hardly watched it so we don't get Fox sports. Of course nothing will ever compare to the live experience but nhra.tv could improve the sound some what if they hired Clay Millican as a consultant. Anyone who has watched his youtube channel I think will agree his sound is pretty darn good.

Clay running NHRA.TV would be a brilliant move by NHRA.
Not only for proper audio, but the behind the scenes insight he brings, I often wonder what we are paying 165 small for currently…

$165 for 20 national events. First day of qualifying right through the last run of eliminations. Lots of content that is different from the Fox show. Sure the sound can be better, but all that for less than 9 bucks per event? I mean come on, what's it cost to grab a cheap breakfast at a diner these days? If you put it in perspective, NHRA.tv is a tremendous deal. At least IMO.

Exactly.
Hell, I spent that much per event back in the 1-900-468-NHRA days LOL. Thanks mom.

Actually, never complained about the cost and i have said the same about the value of an NHRA ticket when others complain about that.
Sadly, it seems the majority here are satisfied with the low quality .TV stream and actually complain about those who would like to see a better quality production.
Never understood how low quality is accepted by so many, and even when the product could be greatly improved (@ no additional cost).
If NHRA wants better ratings they have to have a better quality broadcast product. In the end excellence in broadcasting will always win over mediocrity.

Been falling on deaf ears for years now. Remember the sound treat we were suppose to get last year?? LOL

I didn't even finish watching today's racing, but during, I heard more than dozens of crackles, drop outs & levels going up & down.
If I wasn't such an old codger - I would have offered to help, but then again - no way in hell would I record, mix & edit for $15/hr.... 🤣
Spot on with mediocrity being status quo in this country - asian trash for sale? How much you want?
It's "cheap" so ya better get three, you'll need all of them to finish the one task at hand.
