Sunday will never be the same... (1 Viewer)

I was given this poster yesterday by one of the drivers whose car is on the list shown.
He also got Snake and Mongoose to autograph it for him.
Check out the admission and pit pass prices. As you say, those were the days.

Under the Lights

No captions needed, pretty much self-explanatory, that's if you been around drag racing
for the last 50 plus years. Me, my first drag race of year (2024) May 18th at Pacific Raceway.
I will have been going to the drags for 56 years (8 years old 1968)

Stupid, Scrap Metal Collection

1,263 drag racing pins (that includes, drag racing parts manufacturer's)
The next pins are not include in the 1,263 pins
7- button drag racing key chains
2- World of Outlaws pins
1- 1993 IHBA (drag boats) pin
8- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame pins (went there in 2018 and 2019, when I went to the national event at Norwalk.

You are asking your self, what pins are worth the most. There are a number of pins, that would fetch $100.00 to
$150.00 a pin, but the Jungle Jim pin (photo #7) I was just offered $400.00 for the pin. A person I know who is
in the know on pins and hung out with JJ and other nitro racer's on the East Coast in the late 1960s into the
1980s. He also hung out at Circus Paint's (very cool) back in the day. He got his pin in1973 from Jungle. JJ only
had 50 pins made, he has one and he told me that other then him, I'm the only one he knows that has one.
He told me that pin, is the only pin JJ ever had made. Now there is 9 new Jungle pins (new tooling) that have been
made in the last 6 to 7 years. DO NOT PAY ANYMORE THEN $15.00 to $18.00 for a pin. I bought my JJ pin for
$150.00 a few years, from a guy who needed the cash. And NO it's not for sale. Sorry for rambling on but Nitromater
is the only place I know, to talk drag racing. (my dog died and my girlfriend left me).
The photo's ain't that great. I need a new phone, always something.
