St. Louis 2025

I kinda think JCM is gonna put his $ & effort behind his kid. I believe his late wife was the drive behind the racing effort.
I forgot about his son, I don't believe he's driven in a bit. Is he still wanting to race?

Wonder what Bruno meant when he said Ida is looking for an opportunity for next year.
Did he just mean that she’s still looking for full time funding, or another team? Cuz Lohnes said on one of that last broadcasts that there’s rumors about Dejoria for next year too. Positive ones. But both comments made it sound to me like they wouldn’t be with JCM.

I took what Ida said to mean she will be where ever their is a full time ride.

Either way, that's great news to have a sellout. I think it shows that local track ownership, and the track event Title sponsor, have a major impact on attendance here because they do a lot of advertising in the St. Louis region. People have to be told there is a race to see. They can't be expected to just find out on their own. I think this is a big reason attendance is low at other tracks - particularly NHRA owned tracks. They do almost no advertising. And we see the unfortunate results.
Did anyone hear what Jason Galvin said on Nhra.tv Sunday? They received a note from Curtis Francois saying they had broken the all time attendance record for a Nhra race, sold out all three days. Wonder how many tracks have done that? Norwalk?

Friday and Sunday were not sold out. They said Sunday was the largest attendance for a Sunday race since he has owned the track and it was just short of a sell out. Regardless, the attendance all weekend was strong.

jimmy hidalgo jr. just missed a double up yesterday. win in STK against d. lund who went -0.009 red.
then a -0.002 red light to brett speer in SS semis, then brett goes -0.005 red to helms in SS final.
the lights that are cut in sportsman racing are mind boggling. some of these guys and gals are sooooo good.
i listened to a guy just last summer talk about how he formulates a game plan for almost all of his opponents,
as he knows their tendencies in staging, at the line, and what they usually hold.
What's amazing about Jimmy is he foot brake his Stock and Superstock cars without a chip and no transbrake on superstock car. He's a local racer and this dude is always racing. Not surprised at how good he is.

That’s how I took it. Sat was a sellout, Sunday was just short, but the most for both days since ….. history? Or the current owner? anyway, was very strong.
