Sorry to be so late with this question - 60 hour workweek. Appears that there have been no runs in Stock, Super Stock, Super Comp and Super Gas this weekend. Can't find out if they will get to race at all Sunday. Any information would be appreciated.

I know everyone wants to race the Gators, but it appears to me that trying to race this many classes with unpredictable Florida weather is really ambitious.

sportsman pits still looked pretty bad earlier today.. Not sure what NHRA is going to do.

And for the people throwin NHRA under the bus about dissin the sportsman racers, half of them would'nt of been able to get their cars outta there trailors without mud tires....

The current schedule shows them getting a one hit time trial/qualifying run before pre-race opening ceremonies, then eliminations will start after the Pro finals. The alky classes will run eliminations to completion with the Pros, and Comp will run eliminations with the Pros through round 4. STK, SS, SC and SG are already scheduled to complete their eliminations beginning at 9:00 Monday morning. If everything goes right tomorrow, those classes should get at least 2 rounds of eliminations in before moving on to Monday.

**That was the original schedule, but the new plan is to attempt to finish the race as long as the track conditions remain safe to run.

C'mon James... this is the 'Mater!! Throw NHRA under the bus first, ask questions later!! Tough deal for the sportsman classes 2 Nats in a row, but most know it's a possibility going in.
