Hmm, Jim stated the plot thickens, so I would have to assume he is talking about the sponsor who withdrew their support 2 weeks before the season started and left a bunch of teams scrambling.

Oh screw the repo man.... I got any size aircraft they need, ready to go in as little a half an hour from right now. We operate on YOUR schedule, YOUR plans, YOUR needs and YOUR budget. It really is all about YOU! Call me!

That was also my first thought....but I've been unable to find anything on it. Also haven't heard anything in my circle, so guess we'll just wait for more info.

On a side note, to look up the registration number (aka the N-number or tail number) of any US registered aircraft, the information is public, and to get it go here:

Aircraft Registration Inquiry

Here you can look up aircraft in a number of ways, including by N-number OR Owner Name. Some people have been known to claim ownership of aircraft that they don't actually own....sort of a 'showing off ' thing I guess.

Also, if you want to see accident reports, which are also public, you can go here:

Aviation Accident Database Query

Here it is easiest if you know the date of the accident or incident, or at least a date range.

Well, even if charter aircraft is not an option.....there's also another exciting product, relatively new to the executive transportation market.... somewhat based on wingless transportation (much like helicopters). Imagine, rather than having to go from airport to airport.... you now have the technology in the power of your hands to pinpoint your departures and arrivals from street to street!
And just like the proven, sleek, muscular, lightning-quick attributes of the very animal it's name is derrived from.... Greyhound will solve all your problems :D

Too bad you can't sell it to crewmembers like that, huh? :D

The last Greyhound I rode on when I blew up my Pete in Memphis a couple years ago, I had a choice in Nashville. Ride the next 200 mile leg to Knoxville next to some guy who had to weigh 400 lbs or, wait 3 or 4 hours. I spent that 200 miles riding on one butt cheek, the other hanging out in the aisle. Then the guy starts falling asleep and letting his head fall on my shoulder! I mean, I'm not THAT accomodating! I finally figured out that I could place my elbow next to his head and, pop that arm's fist with my right hand. I'd look straight ahead but, out of the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me like he THOUGHT I just hit him but, he wasn't sure. :D I guess there IS a little evil in my heart!
