Wow those stands on the right are practically on the track. Reminds me of Rockingham.

Looks like a cool track. I like how it's got its own vibe, but how many people does it hold?

With all the BUD LITE controversy, how did they luck out on going with Coors. That decision had to be made months ago.

They have had Bud and Coors for years. At the concession stands you can get Bud Lite, Bud, Coors, Coors Lite.
And right across the street from the track, you can get Bud (not the drinking kind) we have you covered here in
Washington State. And one of the old scoreboard had Coors signage, it's just who wants to spend that extra dollar
for signage. The track opened in 1974, it was closed in 2020 and 2021. The road course was up and running last
year as the great people of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians are putting in 100% effort to get the drag strip up and
running, next month (May) first bracket race. And I would like to thank, RJ Nomee, general manager and current
Kalispel Tribal council member for doing a outstanding job so far. One thing I've heard about the tribe over the years
when they start a new venture, they do it right!

The July 7 & 8 and Aug 12 &13 bookend show's. That August date, I would bet nitro, there will be a number of AA/FD and AA/FC
hanging out here in the Northwest. It's 2 weeks after Seattle (AA/FC) and a week after Boise (AA/FD & AA/FC)

Great video! Oh, how I miss the smokey burnouts and the dry hops.

With Denver going away next year, this might be a good site for a Western Swing race ? I remember back in the days of the "Finals ", there were inflated crowd counts of over 100,000 but if I remember correctly ,( I haven't been there since 1987) there was enough spectator parking for a NHRA national event. But, Jim, do you think there is enough pit space for a national event in this era of big rigs ?

I guess anything is possible. What I think, No. It's just not a national event size facility. Maybe the tribe has it's sight
set on this someday? The traffic would be a nightmare, the stands are to small. I've never really heard how many people
the place can hold. I'm thinking 6000 at the most. Former operator Orville Moe inflated everything, from car counts to
spectator count and who can forget the ET's, can you say popcorn clocks...LOL. Plus with Seattle just 3 hours to the West
does it make sense to have 2 national events less than 5 days apart in the same state? I think the tribe just wants to have
a nice track (they are on there way to that) to cater to the local racers plus draw from Northern Idaho, Western Montana
and of course BC and Alberta. I would look for a Div 6 race next year and of course some great bookend shows.

As far as the stands go, it is possible to increase the number of seats. Pit parking might be questionable.
