Definitely. Will be there all 4 days. The track surface is great. Haven't heard one complaint from any racer.

Yep, we'll be there. In fact, we're headed over this Friday am, going for a PNSCA race doubleheader this weekend, and staying for the divisional event the next weekend. Look for the EMDUB Racing S/C dragster.

.......that's great, I have'nt been there since they made the changes, can't wait to see them.

Me neither, but I talked to Rich Carlson (the Div. 6 photog) and he said it's wonderful. The new track surface is supposed to be super. He was there when they were running pro-mods and they were running 6.15s. Now that's smokin' :)

And the weather this weekend is looking good. It's supposed to cool down into the upper 70's by this weekend. Can't wait.

Jay's done a nice job with Bucky's money and they're not done yet. Good food and drink at reasonable prices. Lots of new stuff alsol. For those who haven't been to Spokane, it's a great spectator track. I was there that weekend but was a might busy to take all of it in. There was a ton of pro mod cars from as far as Colorado. Several of the new BB Nostalgia Funny Cars made their debut there and 5, I think, nostalgia nitro cars were pounding the ground.
The Indian casino is building a big new hotel and soon racers won't need to leave the area for food and lodging. This has the potential to be the nicest racetrack West of the Rockies.
Also for those who haven't been there for a long time or going for the first time, turn left at the casino rather than past it like in the old days.

........hey William what have they done with the concrete seats are they still right up against the drag strip

For a spectator, that was one of the neatest tracks ever. Talk about being on top of the cars !! The "Mob" ran there and it was unreal. The Greek always was there at the Finals. Ahhh, the good old days. Remember the mini zoo out back.

It's the same but where there was a little buffer between the fence and the track barriers, they've cleaned that out and that is now the the pit vehicle pickup road. It was partly pavement and partly dirt as they took out the vegetation that used to be there. It should all be paved by now. They needed some signage for newbies after the end of the track because you had a hard time getting to where you you thought your car was. Same concrete seating, new permanent rest rooms, new concessions, new sign up and track memorabilia buildings. Very nice I thought.

Spent the weekend there racing. Jay and crew have done an amazing job, especially considering they inherited a property that could've been condemned only in March. They have a beautiful new set of staging lanes, a whole new track surface, all new return roads (including a great "last chance" sweeper), new walls along the track, fresh and clean rest rooms... WOW! Their to-do list is short: pave the pot-holed pits, some other odds and ends, and you'll have the best facility in Division 6.

And it's hard to beat a crew as racer friendly as they were. Warm and welcoming, supportive and understanding, helpful and yet strict. Loved it. Our S/C final ran to past dark on Friday night, and Jay (and another guy) personally was out there torching the entire track by hand to 1000' to insure that the cars didn't get squirrely in the cold evening.

Can't wait to go back this weekend for the Divisional race.
